TFT-Display
The H42 TFT dashboard takes prime position ahead of the rider, featuring a unique, specially-designed user interface to suit the compact screen size. Made from bonded glass, the 4.2° TFT screen also boasts a special coating and polarization to reduce glare and increase visibility in all lighting conditions. Riders can also access music, incoming calls, turn-by-turn navigation, and Ride modes via the dashboard - with a USB-C port for device charging duties.
Bodywork
With an ergo triangle inspired by its trusted and beloved 690 siblings, the KTM 390 ENDURO R boasts aggressive, offroad-ready bodywork and a compact 2.37 gallon (9 liter) metal fuel tank perfectly styled for easy off-road action. The bodywork is also made from proven, flexible, and long-lasting PP plastic materials better suited for off-roading and aggressive riding.
Graphics
The KTM 390 ENDURO R comes with premium looks and a striking graphic design as standard. Thanks to proven in-mold graphics, it looks the part and can handle anything the outdoors throws at it.
Engine
Boasting the latest generation of KTM's LC4c engine, the KTM 390 ENDURO features a compact, 399 cc single-cylinder powerplant, churning out impressive power and effortless acceleration. This makes it ideal for charging through motorway traffic or up steep, gravel mountain passes.
RIDE MODES
The KTM 390 ENDURO R offers its pilots a selection of RIDE MODES to best suit whatever conditions they find themselves in. STREET Mode is activated as standard, and OFFROAD Mode is for when the tarmac ends. All RIDE MODES and ABS settings are easily toggled via the TFT display.
ABS
The KTM 390 ENDURO R boasts a Bosch 10.3MB Modulator, which is the brain responsible for its impressive ABS system. This enables standard ABS and an OFFROAD ABS option for dirt applications. However, should you want more control and better "skidablity". The dedicated ABS-off button allows all ABS to be disabled.
LED Lighting
Tearing a deep gash into the night, the KTM 390 ENDURO R is equipped with powerful LED lights taken from its bigger brother, the KTM 690 ENDURO R. These lights not only work when the world becomes dark but also provide improved visibility when navigating heavy traffic or misty road conditions.
Ergonomics
With an ergo-triangle inspired by its bigger brother, the KTM 690 ENDURO R, the KTM 390 ENDURO R features an aggressive handlebar shape, upright seating angle, and generous space for easy on-bike mobility.
Seat
Taking inspiration from the KTM EXC range but with added comfort for longer commutes or trips, the KTM 390 ENDURO R has a single-piece flat seat design for easy on-board mobility and when standing on the pegs.
Footpegs
All-new, grippy footrests ensure riders have an uninterrupted foothold when banging through the gears or carving up a muddy track. These are also adjustable in two positions.
Frame
The new design features a 2-piece construction composed of a steel trellis main frame and a pressure die-cast aluminum subframe. The frame design is not only designed for overall looks but also to enhance vehicle dynamics by augmenting torsional rigidity, improved agility, and enhanced feedback from the chassis on both tarmac and dirt tracks.
Swingarm
A gravity die-cast swingarm has been specifically developed for the KTM 390 ENDURO R and provides a sturdy and durable platform for the rear suspension system. Featuring a direct shock absorber mount offset to the side, it creates additional space for the unique exhaust system.
Suspension
Upfront, a 43 mm WP APEX open cartridge fork with 230 mm travel keeps things in check, with adjustable compression and rebound in 30 easy clicks for easy adjustment. On the rear, any big hits are handled by a WP APEX Separate piston shock absorber with 230 mm of travel. The shock is also rebound adjustable with 20 clicks on the fly, while preload adjustment can be taken care of with a tool.
Wheels and Tires
Emphasizing its undeniable offroad character, the KTM 390 ENDURO
R boasts spoked 21" front and 18" rear wheels
Brakes
Pulling out all the stops, the KTM 390 ENDURO R is equipped with a 285 mm brake disc and Bybre caliper up front and a 240 mm brake disc and single-piston caliper at the rear. These are supported by KTM's proven ABS technology, but this can also be disabled completely for added agility offroad.
